As both a designer and developer, I really like the ability to define "scenarios" and generate pro-quality specification documentation that really communicates the details needed for a developer to turn the prototype into a working app with minimal designer/developer iterations.Īlso very easy to import new widgets and create your own Very easy to create simulations & incorporate data & API content. I've been evaluating & using all the wireframe/prototype tools, and JustInMind is by far the best. I strongly recommend you Justinmind Prototyper or at least give it a try.Īlso have a look at iPlotz, Protoshare, HotGloo and mockflow If you want to be able to have a detailed prototype (or at least you want to have the option to do so) with all the interactions and even some design I will recommend you Justinmind Protoytper or Axure RP. If the only thing you want to do is to scketch some screens and define the navigation then I think the best option is Balsamiq (you have a banner in this blog by the way). In my opinion the choose will depend on the level of detail you want to acquire with that tool. Guest Book, Login Page, Multi Page Form, Searching etc.Īnd in future want to create some application software also. I don’t know any scripting language, But I want to make a full feature site for my clients, like – I am just going to start a dynamic web page design for my 1st client. By the way, it would help us a lot if you send us what bugs have you discovered to thanks for the comment, we love the good comments but the bad ones helps us to improve the product. That's not an excuse, of course, but we want to make a good product and we apologize if it has caused you any kind of problem. From Justinmind we are making efforts to resolve the bugs and we have been able to make a quite stable version (2.6.4) in just a couple of months. I'm really sorry about your experience with Justinmind Prototyper. Just in mind is an nice try but unfortunetly the software is very buggy, badly documented and the support is something what you dont really want experiment. The guys at JIM should understand that the rest of the world does not work with Just in mind is an nice try but unfortunetly the software is very buggy, badly documentet and the support is something what you dont really want experiment. Holger, I think you should try ForeUI ( Rose Haensse Says:Īnyone have experience integrating this with Basecamp? proofHQ? I've heard some use Adobe fireworks for that, others use pidoco or balsamiq. I'm interested in rapidly producing click dummies I can run usability tests with. Thanks for your feedback, I've just installed the trail version. Of course, some apps costs more because you can do more with it, but every project has it's specific tools. We are doing some tutorials on Justinmind's blog, to show some features, and hope Jakub tell us more impressions about the tool. Besides, you can handle requirements inside the app, share and control versions/modifications. With Prototyper, you can create practically the whole user-experience, including data manipulation. If you simply want to draw the wireframe layouts and add some links and a few interactions, it may work. I believe Justinmind Prototyper and Axure are different tools than the ones you metioned. Sponsoring this site as i see in the right column )Īny other suggestions for cheaper prototyping tools? Do you know of any cheaper prototyping tools? Looks promising but unfortunately it is as expensive as Axure. Posted in Tools | 15 Comments » 15 Responses to “Justinmind Prototyper 2.6” A dashboard overview is also available which shows the latest discussions for each project. Here users can comment and annotate the work. It is a separate product which allows numerous people to join in and collaborate around the created prototypes. Justinmind Prototyper also supports capturing requirements in text form, exports to HTML, and allows for inserting external native widgets in the form of HTML or Flash objects. Some of the features include: the ability to drag and drop interface elements, easily change and reuse components with masters, define scenarios and flow, define events and interactions, as well as inject real data into the prototypes. The Prototyper, as the name indicates, is the core tool for creating interfaces representations at a wireframe level of detail. Currently two products are offered which include the Prototyper and Server. Justinmind Prototyper is a standalone prototyping environment which allows designers to prototype, simulate and collaborate.
